Shania Twain tribute brings a taste of Texas to Hondon de las Nieves

Country music, cowboy boots and a taste of Texas are coming to Hondon de las Nieves for a special Country & Western Afternoon on Sunday, September 6.

Hondon Hub, located on Calle Davo, is inviting guests to dust off their cowboy boots and shirts for an afternoon of food and live entertainment, with a Texas-style buffet followed by a tribute to country superstar Shania Twain.

The buffet will be served from 2:00 PM, giving guests plenty of time to eat before the entertainment begins at 4:00 PM.

The event combines food and music, with the Texas-style buffet included in the ticket price.

Guests can settle in for lunch from 2:00 PM before the afternoon moves from the flavours of Texas to some of the biggest country-pop songs of recent decades.

The Country & Western theme also gives visitors an excuse to dress for the occasion, with cowboy boots and shirts encouraged as Hondon Hub gets into the spirit of the afternoon.

Tickets cost €20 per person, which includes both the buffet and live entertainment.

Shania Twain favourites performed live

Taking centre stage from 4:00 PM will be Katy Dann with her tribute to Shania Twain.

Twain’s huge catalogue of country-pop hits helped make her one of the world’s best-selling female artists, with songs that crossed from the country charts into mainstream pop.

Fans can expect an afternoon filled with familiar favourites from her career, with songs such as Man! I Feel Like a Woman!, That Don’t Impress Me Much, You’re Still the One and From This Moment On among the tracks likely to have the audience singing along.

The tribute provides a chance for Costa Blanca country fans to enjoy some of Twain’s best-known music without needing a plane ticket to Nashville.

Booking required for September event

The Country & Western Afternoon takes place at Hondon Hub, Calle Davo, 03688 Hondon de las Nieves, on Sunday, September 6.

Tickets are priced at €20 per person, including the Texas-style buffet and entertainment.

A €10 deposit is required when booking, with the remaining balance due no later than one week before the event.

The buffet begins at 2:00 PM, followed by Katy Dann’s Shania Twain tribute from 4:00 PM.
