Two-day Elche arts and wellbeing festival to support Big Reds Animal Association

Big Reds Animal Association will benefit from a two-day arts and wellbeing festival taking place in Elche on Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18.

The Mandala Arts Festival of Spirit will be held at Partida Daimes, Poligono 3, 110 F, from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM on both days, with free entry.

Arts, wellbeing and complementary therapies fill the weekend programme

The event will include stalls, talks, demonstrations and activities covering art, wellbeing and complementary therapies, with yoga, dance and children’s workshops also planned.

Visitors will find mandala art, crystals, gifts and books, alongside readers, healers and other exhibitors.

With activities spread across both Saturday and Sunday, visitors will be able to drop in during the afternoon and explore the different stalls, demonstrations and workshops on offer.

Entry to the festival is free on both days.

Festival will raise support for Big Reds Animal Association

The festival is being held in support of Big Reds Animal Association, a registered animal charity founded in Spain in 2014.

Big Reds rescues abandoned and unwanted animals and prepares them for new homes. Its work includes providing food and veterinary care, along with neutering, vaccinations and microchipping.

Donations help the association meet the continuing costs of looking after animals while permanent homes are found.

The charity also operates shops in Catral and Torrevieja, with proceeds helping towards the care and welfare of its rescue animals.

Free Elche festival runs across Saturday and Sunday

The October festival gives visitors the chance to support that work while attending the different activities taking place over the weekend.

The Mandala Arts Festival of Spirit will run from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18.

The venue is Partida Daimes, Poligono 3, 110 F, Elche, and admission is free.

Visitors can explore the arts and wellbeing stalls, take part in activities and find out more about the work carried out by Big Reds Animal Association.
