Benidorm Pride parade fills the streets as thousands celebrate love and diversity

Benidorm’s streets burst into life on Saturday September 5 as thousands of people lined the route of the annual Benidorm Pride parade, transforming the resort into a sea of rainbow colours, music and celebration.

The hugely popular event, one of the highlights of the week-long Benidorm Pride Festival, attracted locals, holidaymakers and visitors from across Europe, all joining together to celebrate diversity, inclusion and equality. Floats, dancers, performers and entertainers created a carnival atmosphere as the procession made its way along the seafront before continuing through the city’s streets to cheering crowds.

Music, costumes and community spirit

Participants dressed in eye-catching costumes while DJs kept the energy high with music that had spectators dancing from the pavements. Rainbow flags waved above the crowds as families, friends and members of the LGBTQ+ community celebrated together in one of Spain’s best-known Pride events.
