Delicious lunch in a stunning setting

Restaurante El Jinete will again open its doors for the Autumn Charity Lunch in aid of ACE-SHIN (Animal Care España), taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2pm onwards. Anyone who books a seat can look forward to a relaxed afternoon of delicious food and friendly company, all in support of a wonderful cause.

Tickets are priced at €50 per person, and that covers a welcome drink on arrival, a generous three-course lunch (with vegetarian options available), and two drinks per guest during the meal. Bread and water are also included, and most importantly, €10 from every ticket sold goes straight to ACE’s rescue work.

A mouth-watering menu worth getting excited about

The spread fuses Spanish flavours with international favourites. Starters include a warm goat’s cheese salad with caramelised onion and seasonal fruit, foie mousse served with Cumberland sauce, prawns pil pil, and an Argentinian-style meat pie accompanied by grilled chorizo. For mains, guests can choose from pork ribs glazed in bourbon barbecue sauce, an Italian-style chicken schnitzel, pan-fried calf’s liver, a 200-gram chargrilled entrecote, or a lighter option of oven-baked hake fillet. Vegetarians aren’t forgotten either, with spinach and ricotta tortelloni or a pistachio-crowned bauletti on offer. To finish, there’s a choice of classic apple pie with vanilla ice cream or a banana and rum trifle topped with dulce de leche.

Music, prizes and giving

Local singer Harvey James will provide live entertainment throughout the afternoon, and a charity raffle featuring some excellent prizes will run alongside the meal.
