Mazarron community to unite for charity lunch supporting cancer patients this October

Mazarron’s local community is coming together for a noble cause this October, as the association Alas de Esperanza presents its upcoming charity gathering, “Una Mesa Llena de Esperanza” (“A Table Full of Hope”). Taking place on Sunday, October 11, this heartfelt event will bring residents together, create local solidarity, and raise essential funds to support cancer patients and their families throughout the municipality.

Mazarron community coming together for a meaningful cause: A charity lunch with a purpose

The charity lunch will begin at 2:00pm at the idyllic Finca El Collado venue. There, guests can share a delicious meal while contributing directly to an important local cause. Tickets are priced at €40 for the adult menu and €25 for the children’s menu, with ticket sales remaining open until the venue reaches full capacity. 

Entertainment, tardeo, and family-friendly activities

Following the lunch, attendees can look forward to a lively afternoon filled with entertainment. The afternoon will turn into a tardeo party, featuring a live musical performance, traditional games of bingo, and several delightful surprise activities to keep the positive atmosphere alive well into the evening.

Additionally, the organisers have arranged a dedicated shuttle bus service to transport guests to and from the venue, making it easier for interested visitors to attend.

Every euro raised from the day will go directly toward funding the support, companionship, and professional health intervention services provided by the Alas de Esperanza association, based in Mazarron. For families navigating the challenging physical, emotional, and practical burdens of a cancer diagnosis, the association offers crucial assistance when it is needed most.
