Shoppers dream returns to Arroyo de la Miel

Benalmadena town hall has confirmed the fourth edition of its Outlet Urbano, an urban outlet event that turns the streets into an open-air bazaar for two full days. Arroyo de la Miel, hosts the event on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3, with dozens of local businesses taking part.

Discounts, stalls and a proper shopping trail

Constitution Avenue, the areas main commercial street, becomes the designated “Outlet Zone” for the weekend, filled with stalls selling fashion, handicrafts, food and other goods at discounted prices. Dozens more shops across Arroyo de la Miel join in with their own promotions, and balloon totems mark out every participating storefront so visitors know exactly where to find a deal.

Products on offer cover a proper cross-section of local trade with everything you could wish for: clothing and accessories, children’s and flamenco wear, footwear, food and drink, crafts, toys, health and beauty items, plus stands run by local charities and social organisations.

A drumline to kicks things off

Kicking off proceedings, a batucada, a lively Brazilian-style percussion parade, marches down Constitution Avenue from 7pm on Friday, getting everyone into the spirit before the serious shopping gets going.

Plaza de la Mezquita, hosts the popular fashion show at 8pm on Saturday, where local shops and brands present their latest collections to an evening crowd.

Well worth a visit

Councillor for Commerce Raul Campos invites residents and visitors to explore the streets and take advantage of the promotions prepared for this edition, describing local commerce as “close, diverse and quality.”
