Picture a cosy Tuesday evening, a room full of friendly faces and a chorus of festive favourites filling the air. That is what the Del Sol Singers are offering this autumn, and you don’t need to be a professional performer to join in.

A warm welcome for every voice

Organisers say no experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a sprinkle of Christmas spirit. Whether you sang in a choir for decades or have only ever belted out tunes in the shower, there is a singing sheet with your name on.

Rehearsals for the new term begin on Tuesday, October 20 and run from 7pm to 8.15pm each week. The weekly meet have no official venue listed as yet, but it is soon to be confirmed. Previous meeting have taken place at the Victoria & Albert pub in El Pilar, Estepona.

A season packed with festive cheer

Organisers promise a magical line-up of festive performances in the weeks ahead, along with all the Christmas classics you grew up with. Enjoy belting out uplifting seasonal songs that everyone can sing along to.

December can feel bittersweet when family and old friends are far away. A weekly sing-song gives you a regular night out, a chance to meet like-minded people and something cheerful to look forward to as the evenings draw in. Many people find that a few hours of shared music leaves them feeling lighter, and a group of fellow expats makes settling in that much easier.

How to get involved

You can message for details by emailing the choir’s organiser, talented singer, Karen Jan Danzig on kdpopchic@hotmail.com or sending a WhatsApp message to +34 630 379 684. Why not make this the year you finally take the plunge and give yourself the gift of song this season.
