La Manga welcomed music fans in the area for the fantastic return of Hermosa Fest over the weekend of October 10 and 11, as the popular festival brought two special days of live performances, DJ sets and entertainment to the Costa Calida.

Hermosa Fest returns for its fifth edition

Held at Trips Summer Club, the festival celebrated its fifth edition with a diverse lineup of Spanish talent, international favourites and impressive emerging artists. The event, sponsored by the Cartagena City Council, brought together performers from across several musical genres, with Spanish comedy-pop duo Ojete Calor and electronic party duo Ladilla Rusa heading the roster.

Spanish stars and international disco favourites

They were joined by popular Spanish acts La Casa Azul and Sidecars, alongside international disco favourites Boney M. The wider line-up included Bicicleta, Adiós Noviembre, Cycle, SAO, Vinila Von Bismark DJ, Second DJs and La Nenu DJ Set, offering audiences a mixture of pop, indie rock, electronic music and nostalgic hits.

Late-night DJ sessions keep the party going

The festival’s format combined headline concerts with DJ sessions, allowing the entertainment to continue after the live performances ended. One of the highlights of the programme was the extended late-night music schedule. From 4:00am, the action continued at the venue’s Escenario Trips, with Casino Social Club taking over on Saturday and Kutxu leading the Sunday session.

A major highlight of the autumn festival calendar

Since its launch in 2022, Hermosa Fest has been one of the standout events of the autumn calendar in the La Manga area. Its October dates gave residents and visitors another reason to explore the charm of La Manga and the nearby Cabo de Palos areas outside of peak season.

Trips Summer Club is also a standout venue for the event, featuring indoor and outdoor spaces for concerts and entertainment.

Hermosa Fest’s return added yet another major music event to Cartagena’s autumn calendar, combining live performances, dancing and late-night entertainment in a coastal setting. Celebrating another successful edition, La Manga is still humming with excitement and looking forward to the next spectacular edition of this beloved festival.
