THE amount of merchandise which passed through Motril Port in October this year risen by 6.4 per cent.
This is mainly as a result of exports to the United Kingdom and central and northern Europe, as well as the direct link to the North African enclave of Melilla, which has caused general merchandise figures to increase by 13.4 per cent.
