EIGHTEEN Costa Blanca Mountain Walkers headed for the Sierra Carrasca East. It was a 17km hike which took 5.75 hours.
The walk took them out of Vall d’Ebo and up a steady climb to the ridge at the eastern end of the Sierra Carrasca, altitude 732m.
They followed this ridge to the west for about 40 minutes over Tossal dels Edrets at an altitude of 802m, and then gradually traversed down the southern side to a track that marked the beginning of their return.
