TWO men were arrested in Torrevieja on burglary charges. Officers reportedly found them hiding in a wardrobe of a shop that sells aluminum frames.
Local residents heard suspicious sounds and called the police.
When officers first entered the building with the permission of the business owner, they did not find anybody, but did find a sports bag in a corner with various items that had been taken from the shop, so officers carried out a more thorough search.
The detainees, a Moroccan and Algerian, both in their 40s, have records for similar crimes.
