THE Alhaurin de la Torre Health Centre has announced that it has run out of vaccines against Meningitis C.
The booster vaccine was to be given to children born between 2000 and 2004.
Although the Guadalhorce Valley Health District says it is only a rare problem, it has not been solved and parents in the town have complained.
The head of the Health District, Manuel Paz, did not explain how they had come to run out of the vaccines and said that more would be received in June.
However, a meeting was due to be held to request some vaccines from Malaga Health District to use until the others arrive.
