PIRATES ADVENTURE raised €50,410.25 from this year’s charity premiere.
Of that they are paying €2,948 to the Support Charley Fund, with the remaining €47,462.25 going to the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
This takes their total amount raised for GOSH over the years to €679,242.05.
“We are very pleased with the amount raised for both GOSH and the Support Charley Fund especially in these hard times and we would like to thank all sponsors, prize donators and once again the generosity of the island residents,” said Catherine Sasson CEO of Globo Balear.
Matt Forrest the Head of Community Fundraising of GOSH said: “Thank you so much from all here at the hospital! We are hugely grateful for all of the support we receive from Pirates – and also of course for the amazing experience the GOSH families have provided by Tui. Thank you all again for raising another fantastic gift for GOSH”.
