UNIFORMED and plainclothes Local Police officers in Fuengirola will work with council inspectors to crackdown on street vendors.
Last year police seized 11,569 CDs and DVDs and 5,096 counterfeit accessories.
A close watch will be kept on the yacht marina and the busiest shopping streets as well as Los Boliches, the favourite stamping grounds of the itinerant salesmen, commonly known as Looky-Looky men.
The town hall called on the public to help remove sellers from the streets by not buying their products.
