CREVILLENT Town Hall spent €18,000 to bring fibre optics to the district of El Realengo.
The installation is a response to the El Realengo Neighbours Association’s request to be provided the same telecommunication services that are offered to Crevillent residents.
Local television, mobile phone and internet services will be available to the citizens as a result of Crevillent’s investment in fibre optics.
New Technologies councilwoman, Laura Gomis stated that performing the same project in other Crevillent towns is “unthinkable” at the moment. She explained that the project was only successful in El Realengo because they utilized existing wiring between the town and Crevillent.
