BACK HOME: Owners can get returned what was stolen.
RESIDENTS who suffered during a series of break-ins around Villajoyosa and Benidorm could be on the way to getting some of their stolen items back. Eleven people were held in a raid by the national police and the Alicante Civil Guard. They are accused of around 40 robberies in different houses in the Villajoyosa and Benidorm areas. They used plastic and X-ray sheets to break in, apparently leaving no traces.
Most of what was stolen could be seized and owners can hopefully pick their properties at Villajoyosa’s Civil Guard office, 9am-1pm, until October 31. For more information, call 965 145 660.
