Atletico Madrid player signs deal with Monaco

Atletico Madrid’s striker, Radamel Falcao is set to sign a five-year deal with Monaco, with a release clause, according to Marca sports paper.

Travelling with him was Real Madrid player Ricardo Carvalho, who has already signed a one year contract with Monaco, and their agent, Jorge Mendes who was on hand to put forward terms and conditions.

The Colombian sharpshooter will agree a five-year contract, with a ‘buy out’ clause of €60 million – the exact same amount Monaco is set to pay Atletico de Madrid for the striker too take effect at the end of the 2013-14 campaign.
