TEULADA-MORAIRA: Lifeguards on watch
LIFEGUARDS began their yearly watch over Teulada-Moraira beaches on June. The seven lifeguards and their coordinator will be stationed each day at the l’Ampolla, Portet and Platgetes beaches until October 15 from 10am until 8pm.
This year there will also be a defibrillator on hand to deal with heart attack cases. From July 2 to August 31, there will be an area on the l’Ampolla beach for those with mobility problems as well as lifeguards specialising in disabled rescue.
The l’Ampolla beach will also hold free keep-fit classes three days a week from 10am until 10.40am.
