VOLKSWAGEN has presented the new member of the up! family, the cross up!
The up! family includes the CrossPolo, CrossGolf and CrossTouran models.
The cross up! Is a compact four-door car with the customised styling of a small sport utility vehicle (SUV).
The sporty and rugged appearance of the 3.56 metre long cross up! is marked by exterior elements.
External features include bumpers in sporty design with silver-coloured inserts, black styling add-ons to the wheel arches and sills, door mirrors painted in metallic and the anodised silver roof rails.
The appearance of the cross up! finishes with a 15 mm higher ride height and exclusive 16-inch alloy wheels.
With a starting price of €13,950, the new cross up! is available in five body colours –white, red, dark blue metallic, light silver metallic and black pearl- for selection.
A three-cylinder petrol engine with 999 cc displacement and 55 kW / 75 PS at 6200 rpm specially developed for the up! series guarantees fuel economy, the German manufacturer claims.
To make everyday driving safe and comfortable, Volkswagen offers various optional equipment and trim packs for the cross up!
These include “drive pack plus” with City Emergency Braking – a lidar-based emergency braking system designed to help a driver avoid a low-speed crash-, “cool & sound pack” with air conditioner and audio system and “maps & more pack” with a multicoloured 5-inch TFT touchscreen.
