FOUR people have been arrested for copper theft across the Vega Baja.
Police launched an investigation after being made aware of a plot to steal the copper from a warehouse in Dolores. As a result, three men were caught red handed with the fourth being arrested for allegedly buying and re-selling the cable through the construction company he managed.
The group is believed to be the authors of 11 burglaries including telephone cable thefts in Guardamar del Segura and San Fulgencio, stealing a total of 300m of cabling.
