So, a wild boar walks into a bar in Granada…
It may sound like a joke, but locals and tourists alike were shocked when officers from the environmental department came into a bar in Calle Moras, Granada, armed with a tranquiliser gun to put a boar to sleep.
The boar’s natural habitat is in the forest area behind the Alhambra Palace but it is believed it became disorientated and wandered into the streets of Granada city centre where it was seen by several people who alerted the emergency services.
It eventually walked into a bar where it was caught, and after recovering from the effects of the tranquiliser, returned to its natural habitat.
It is unknown whether or not the boar suffered a hangover from its pub-crawling experience.
