VISITORS and residents will be able to enjoy guided tours of the island’s places of cultural interest.
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Territory, through the Balearic Institute of Nature (IBANAT) is participating in a new edition of the European Heritage Days which this year has the theme ‘living with our cultural landscapes.’
Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the beginning of the European Cultural Convention, there will be a number of itineraries for visits around places of cultural, natural and scenic interest.
Every Saturday in September there will be free guided tours in Mallorca as well as in Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. On Saturday there will be visits to the caves of Lluc, sa Comet dels Morts and Pixarells.
Other Mallorca trips include on September 20 Alqueria Vella in the Llevant de Mallorca is visited and at the end of the month Son Real and S’Albufera has tours.
