DENIA is once again present at Madrid’s mainline stations, on the Metro and in the airport.
Following the success of last year’s publicity campaign, striking posters for the Marina Alta town can again be seen in the capital. Some are located in Goya, Callao, Cuzco, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de España and Argüelles, stations much-used by Madrileños heading for the department stores or travelling to work.
There are others at Atocha, the mainline station where travellers depart for Alicante and Valencia, as well as the principal terminals at Barajas-Adolfo Suarez airport.
The majority of the Spanish visitors who visit Denia are from Madrid, outnumbering those from the Valencian Community and Cataluña. The campaign aims to maintain this popularity, the town hall said, with the 31 advertisements on display between March 10 and April 9.
These dates were deliberately chosen to depict Denia as a principal option for Easter Week, the summer months and mini-breaks throughout the year.
