HUERCAL OVERA has published a book containing stories written by young townsfolk in the third edition of a literary competition.
The theme was elves and fantasy but with a connection to well-known areas of the town including the castle, Cura Valera and the Adolfo Suarez municipal park. There are 16 stories in the book, representing the winners in multiple categories.
The mayor of Huercal Overa, Domingo Fernandez, and the councillor for education, Lucia Parra, joined the librarian Diego Gomez to present the young authors with copies of the book.
The books can be collected free of charge from the town library and the Teatro Villa.
