AS summer approaches, Fuengirola residents are calling for more police presence and stricter measures to fight prostitution on the seafront.
Although not a novelty in tourist towns on the coast, a considerable increase in the number of women offering sexual services in the area and their aggressive behaviour are starting to be too much for both local residents and workers.
Although a petition has been sent to the council demanding something be done, as current laws stand it replied that all it can do is increase police presence in the area.
