THE number of visitors allowed inside Nerja Caves will be limited to 250 per hour, the management has announced.
Nerja Caves Foundation president Jorge Hernandez Mollar explained that a new schedule has been drawn up for guided tours, which will be limited to four groups of 50 people each per hour in July and August and two groups per hour the rest of the year, but stressed that nobody would be left out.
This preliminary measure will be tested out as the management adapts the system to improve visits and meet heritage site standards.
