Almuñecar stars in health TV show

ALMUÑECAR was the setting chosen to shoot a special episode of ‘Salud al Dia’, broadcast on the Andalucian regional channel Canal Sur TV.

The programme, coordinated by Isabel Nestares, focused on people living with diabetes and everything involved in their daily lives and was made in collaboration with the town’s Health Care Centre.

Advice on how to live a healthy life with the condition was given by health experts and local people with diabetes talked about their experiences.

The filming took place in Puerta del Mar, Cotobro and its surroundings as well as in the Health Centre facilities. The Municipal Sports Department was also involved.
