A NEW study has revealed that 578,000 Spanish students aged 18 to 34 completed their studies with time abroad, and 81.7 per cent of these went to the UK.
The first Survey on International Student Movement by the INE National Statistics Institute found that 6.7 per cent of students had spent some time abroad during their academic training, with the UK top of the list of choices followed by Italy, France and Germany.
More women (344,800) than men (233,200) took the opportunity to broaden their horizons by studying abroad, and most of these spent more than six months abroad.
