AFTER 33 hours of worry, a 13-year-old boy reported missing in Istan has been found safe and sound.Cristian was reported missing by his family yesterday morning (May 4), who had not seen the teenager since he went out into the mountains to look for his dog on Sunday afternoon.Although the dog appeared shortly afterwards, there had been no sign of Cristian.Police teams with dogs and helicopters and local volunteers searched the countryside all day until darkness fell yesterday, yet in the early hours of this morning a team was sent out to check a home in the countryside that was usually only used at weekends and found him fast asleep.Although the house had been searched during the day, it is believed that the boy heard people coming. While Cristian was reported to be in perfect condition, he was taken to a medical centre for a check-up after being reunited with his family.
