Great quality cuisine at Bay Leaf with something to suit everyone

A VISIT to Bay Leaf restaurant in Urbanisation La Marina is always a pleasure. Having been open for less than a year, this Indian and Mediterranean restaurant has quickly established itself as one of the area’s most popular eateries, enjoyed by residents and holiday- makers alike and even during an early mid-week visit, the tables fill up with diners enjoying the staff’s welcoming hospitality.
There is an extensive range of Indian dishes with something for all tastes and with the early bird special costing just €9.95 for any starter and any main with rice or naan bread and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink, there is no better, or more affordable way to sample top quality Indian cuisine. Being able to choose any dish from the a la carte menu the early birth special is undoubtedly a popular choice and booking, particularly for large parties, is advised. There is everything from rich, tasty bhunas and baltis to a good choice of more milder, sweeter, fruity dishes like the malayan with banana and pineapple and the kashmiri with coconut, almond, mango and sultanas. Rice is piping hot and light and the naan bread is perfectly thin and crispy.
With all dishes prepared fresh to order, it may not be the quickest service, but the food is worth it and it is just another excuse to sit back and relax and enjoy the complimentary popadums and dips.
As well as the early bird special, available from 5-8.30pm, there are set menus for two and four people priced from €20 served all evening.
For guests wanting something different, there is plenty of choice from the Mediterranean menu and a set menu is available for €10.95 with a choice of starters and mains including sirloin steak, grilled chicken breasts, BBQ pork and salmon. A children’s menu is also available so all members of your party can be catered for happily and easily with the friendly, helpful staff at your disposal.
Bay Leaf is open for lunch from 12.30-3pm and in the evening from 5pm until late. Takeaways are available and orders over €20 receive a free bottle of wine.
