NEW PLAYGROUND: Pinosol playground
A NEW playground has been opened in Pinosol Park on Cami Cansalades in Javea. The popular park attracts many local families with young children, especially on Sundays and fiestas, to enjoy a picnic and meet up with friends. The recreation area has undergone a transformation over the last few months. A kiosk and bar were built and have proved very popular with delicious roast chickens and a range of other refreshments at very reasonable prices, so the park has become a favourite venue for the Spanish tradition of long and relaxed family lunches. The new playground was opened by Javea’s mayor, Jose Chulvi. The ground has been matted to protect knees and elbows from scrapes and there is a wonderful combination of slides, ladders and play houses, all painted in vibrant colours to keep youngsters entertained while parents can keep an eye on them from comfy benches and seats. There is also a barbeque area but this can only be used in accordance with the council’s fire restrictions.
