GRANADA students seem to enjoy burying their faces in their books as the province has registered the lowest rate of early school leaving in the whole of Andalucia.Specifically, 25.4 per cent of students leave school early, while the average for the Andalucian region sits at 32.1 per cent and the national average reached 26.5 per cent.The rate has been calculated by Regional Education Department by analysing the percentage of residents of ages ranging between 18 and 24 years old who are not in school and only have secondary school or lower studies.In Granada Province, 31.7 per cent of those who leave school early were young men and 17.8 per cent young women.
