Permanent space for flavours of Malaga market

THE first permanent Sabor a Malaga (Malaga flavour) market is ready and expected to open in Coin this weekend.
Financed by Malaga Provincial Council with a €330,000 budget, the new market includes 800 square metres of covered space and a 200-square-metre patio and is expected to house approximately 40 stands for Guadalhorce valley produce.
Found near La Trocha shopping centre, the market will allow local farmers to sell their traditionally grown wares straight to consumers, therefore cutting out the middleman, Mayor Fernando Fernandez and Agriculture Councillor Antonio Gonzalez explained.
