Villaricos wacky races put some fun into fundraising

SIX teams competed in this year’s Wacky Races held in Villaricos. Thanks to the fundraising event, cheques for €750 each were presented to Villaricos church and the school.
“We would like to thank the entrants, sponsors, advertisers and supporters for their generosity,” the organisers said afterwards.
A provisional date – May 14 – has already been sent for next year’s edition.
