Child suffers cardiac arrest on Motril ferry

A 10-YEAR-OLD child has suffered a cardiac arrest while on board a fast ferry between Motril Port and Nador (Morocco).
The child has been taken by an emergency helicopter to a hospital in Granada. The ferry departed from Motril on Thursday (July 23) and had sailed 15 miles when the events took place, the boat then turning back to Motril Port.
