Gazpacho lovers have a date in Alfarnatejo

ALFARNATEJO is about to celebrate the fair in honour of one of the most typical dishes of summer Spanish cuisine: gazpacho.
The 14th edition of this fair is scheduled to take place on July 31 (Friday) and August 1 (Saturday).
On Friday, at 7pm, the youngest fair-goers can take part in a foam party in Calle Real, followed by a party featuring great hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s at midnight.
The gazpacho-centred festivities will take place on Saturday, starting at noon with the inauguration of a market featuring products of the area. At 2pm, visitors will be able to enjoy a dish of gazpacho and Spanish tortilla and will be entertained by the ensemble ‘Alborea.’
More gazpacho will be handed out at 10pm, followed by more music and dance. Finally at 1am, there will be a performance by band Los Tabernicolas.
