Unemployment falls in Valencia

UNEMPLOYMENT has fallen by 30,400 people in the Valencia Region during the second quarter of 2015, bringing the total number of registered unemployed to approximately 558,400. According to data from the Labour Force Survey for the second quarter of the year, the region’s unemployment now stands at 23.02 per cent.
The largest decreases in unemployment this quarter over the previous one occurred in Andalucia, with 98,700 fewer unemployed; Catalonia, with 31,900; and Valencia, with 30,400. The Principality of Asturias saw the number out of work rise by 5,800 people.
