Calpe blazes a trail – underwater

THE only underwater trail in the Valencian community is proving to be a great success with visitors to Calpe.
The Princesa de Asturias eco trail, at El Raco cove at the foot of the Ifach rock, was set up by the Catholic University of Valencia with assistance from the city of Calpe.
The trail attracts around 90 people per day who put on goggles and walk the 120 metres. Along the trail there are information points that point out relevant facts about the surroundings.
The trail can be accessed from the fishing port and the Paseo Ecologico.
