Garden and sea celebrated together in Los Alcazares

LOS ALCAZARES is hosting its 44^th International Fiesta of the Garden and Sea from Friday August 14.

The fiesta celebrations will run until August 29 with the fiesta being declared of ‘Regional Tourist Interest.’

Primarily a folklore festival, it has grown over the years and celebrates the annual move of countryside and farm workers to the sea during the summer.

The events begin on Friday (August 14) from 8.30pm where a selection of local Murcian cuisine will be available nightly, followed by a water and land fireworks display in the Antigua Pescaderia from 11.50pm.
