WATER supply has come back to the Camino de las Palmeras area of Pechina. Aqualia, the company in charge of the water system in the area of Bajo Andarax announced that the low volume of water fault registered in the Camino de las Palmeras (Pechina) has been fixed.
According to a statement released by the company, on Monday (August 24), they received complaints from six different cottages in the area claiming the water service had been interrupted. Addressing the fault was especially complicated as the workers could not find the broken pipe, which was located in a private plot of land. Repair works were the reason behind a low water flow in surrounding properties.
“After a comprehensive series of works, on Thursday (August 27), we were able to resume the service,” read the statement. “The pipe has been diverted into a public space now, which will avoid further complications in the future.”
