TEN per cent of filling stations in Almeria are selling diesel at less than €1 per litre. Many people would struggle to remember how long it is since they last saw such prices, and this means that it costs buyers €10 less on average to fill their tanks than it did this time last year.
According to the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, there are 23 filling stations in the province selling diesel at less than €1 per litre and 14 more selling 95 octane unleaded petrol at less than €1.10. It is worth checking which in order to save some money, although they account for only 13.2 per cent of the total number of fuel stations in the province. They are all in the western part of the province, around El Ejido area.
