AN INDIAN woman was stabbed in the doorway of a block of flats in Fuengirola in the early hours of Thursday morning (September 24), possibly during an argument over money she owed the attacker.
At 1.20am a witness alerted the authorities that a woman had been stabbed in the doorway of a block of flats on Calle Alvarez Quintero, was bleeding and needed medical help,112 Emergency Services Andalucia reported.
National Police officers and an ambulance were sent to the scene and the woman taken to hospital for treatment.
As investigations continue, the police initially suspect the attacker, a 55-year-old Indian man who has been arrested for causing injuries, may have stabbed the victim during an argument over money she allegedly owed him.
