A SPANISH woman was arrested for her alleged involvement with Islamic State terrorist group DAESH on Friday November 6 after arriving in Spain on a flight to Malaga-Costa del Sol airport.

The Ministry of the Interior reported that the woman had been under investigation by Spanish authorities since leaving for Turkey with the rest of her family, allegedly with intentions to travel to Syria and join DAESH.

The woman was arrested under an International Arrest Order issued by the Spanish High Court and was taken to General Information Police Headquarters in Canillas de Madrid.
