TRAINING COURSES: More than 200 people have registered to take part.
MORE than 200 people have registered to take part in the courses at the Aula Mentor in Huercal-Overa since 2012.
In 2015, 40 people registered on courses which included computer technology, graphic design, accountancy, English or geriatric care.
There have been 15 exam sessions for the pupils from throughout the province and the next will be in February.
The mayor, Domingo Fernandez, said that the courses had been very popular, especially because they can be taken at home and only the exams require the presence of the students.
He also said that the council will continue to offer locals new opportunities for training and starting their own businesses with 170 courses for students and professionals.

Registration is open all year at the Teatro Villa in the town from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Thursdays.
