If you enjoy football and would like to support a local football club, the Mijas Foreigners Department in collaboration with the Football Club of Mijas is running a programme of integration to encourage foreign residents who are football lovers to attend the games played at home.
“The idea is to get our foreign residents to play an active part in local sport, supporting the players,” stated Ana Skou, head of the Mijas Foreigners Department. The Councillor of Sport, Lydia Moreno is also very pleased with this initiative.
The Football Club of Mijas will be giving free tickets for all those that wish to attend the games. This week the tickets are already available at the Tourist Office in Mijas Village for the games of this Sunday January 17 in the municipal Football pitch Antonio Marquez Alarcon (Osunillas) up in Mijas village: Seniors – CD Mijas against CD Cala de Mijas at 12:15pm., children – CD Mijas against CD Cala de Mijas at 3pm and Benjamines – CD Mijas against CD Cartama at 6:30pm
