Man shot in Mijas

GUARDIA CIVIL officers are currently investigating an attack on a 42-year-old Spanish man who was shot on Thursday, March 10, in Mijas. 

Around 2.30pm, some friends took the victim to the Costa del Sol hospital with two bullet wounds in the abdomen. He was taken to hospital and remains in a serious condition as he lost a lot of blood.

The officers confirmed that the incident occurred in Calle Zeus, within the Rivera del Sol residential area. The causes of the shootout remain unknown and police are now focused on the victim, who allegedly has a criminal record.
