‘Some pages on google.com contain deceptive content right now.’
GOOGLE have announced that they consider their own services to be “partially dangerous,” and have warned their own users that the site’s search engine could attempt to steal user information or install malware on their devices.
The warning is include in the company’s new online transparency report, which highlights potentially dangerous websites across the net.
Google says that their own sites include pages that contain “deceptive content,” and advises affected users to check out its “Webmasters help for hacked sites” page.
Google rivals Bing and DuckDuckGo did not appear in the report, meaning neither is considered dangerous at the moment.
