COMMUNITY SPIRIT: The firefighters listen closely.
A COURSE has been organised to teach the firefighters of Mijas some new skills and strengthen their existing ones.
It has a specific focus on rescue manoeuvres in different situations, and will be carried out in three stages.
The workshop has been given a budget of €5,500 and will last for 16 hours overall.
Human Resources Councillor José Carlos Martín was in attendance at the first stage of the course. He pointed out that “risk prevention has been one of the pillars of the council for some time now, as it is a top priority for all employees to work in the safest conditions possible.”
