Body of man recovered from Nerja beach

EMERGENCY services have recovered the body of a man from Alberquillas beach, some ten kilometres from Nerja this afternoon.

Firefighters retrieved the body of the 68-year-old man from an area between the beach and the rocks.

The scene was also attended by the Guardia Civil, ambulance service, local police and Civil Protection group.

The Guardia Civil has started an investigation to confirm the cause of death.
