APARTMENTS and restaurants were evacuated in Ibiza as a fire tore through more than three hectares of forest.
Fire services responded immediately to the blaze, which started at 3.20pm today (June 14), and fortunately no-one was harmed.
The beach at Port des Torrent was also evacuated as a precaution, and it is believed the fire started somewhere in that area.
Sant Josep’s mayor, Josep Mari Ribas, praised the quick response from emergency services and said the blaze was now under control.
